At its core, this IT Help Desk Log for my fictional aftermarket automotive parts and accessories company is a to-do list that calls an API, uses React to render and update its html while Redux stores and updates the state used to render the application.
While the "No Logs at this time..." message is a lovely site to see, it is not something that happens often. So to keep track of endless requests, actions, updates, edits, etc... that need to be documented, a log of some type is usually kept. A digital log allows those making the entries to keep up with the daily actions that occur.
By hovering over the blue selector button, input options appear but simply click on the blue button and input a log message, then select the right IT Technician for the job and decided if action needs attention or can be dealt with a later time.
Color coded font, date and time stamps, detailed information, edit and delete are easy as a click away. Alert boxes appear when logs are added, edited or deleted.
The Redux DevTool allowed me to debug and keep aware of actions taking place in the application. This project made me appreciate the fact that this developer tool exist and understand how truly valuable it is. I look forward to working more with React and Redux and become even more familiar with this dev tool. The more tools I have my developer toolkit the better. It is always better to be prepared and know what you have and how to use it, then to need it or have it and not know it works.
Add, delete and list current IT Technicians via modals, navigate to About and Contact website pages via React Routes. This application demonstrates different ways to display information and interact with data.
With so much code, many directories and subdirectories, new concepts and doing my best to ensure that I understand the What & the Whys of the code
(now & in the future) I placed comments throughout the code and attempted to format the code in a way that is understandable to myself and others.
