I am a marketer turned full-stack developer. I have a diverse background that includes being in the military, working in nuclear security, talent acquisition and product technical marketing. Marketing taught me how to research and that there are many ways to gain and apply knowledge. Marketing is where I was exposed to coding for the first time and where I discovered that I enjoyed programming. While in the military (U.S. Marine Corps) I served on the east and west coast of the United States, in the Middle-East and South America. The military reinforced in me to always appreciate what I have, put forth maximum effort into achieving my goals and to be flexible in thought and mind. Those values have served me well and I feel will continue to do so as I embark on my journey to becoming a well rounded software developer. I feel very fortunate that I get to be a part of shaping the digital world around us.
Is an offline location tracker application that allows the user to track their location using an iPhone or Android device. The technology uses QR Codes that are scanned by the device which are matched to map coordinates. The location and destination of the user are then displayed on the device.
This site was inspired by past jobs that required inputting information into actual log books and later Excel spreadsheets.
While both of these methods work neither were user friendly. This intranet IT Help Desk Log would be a low cost,
light weight, easy to implement, easy to use application for logging in and keeping track of items that need to be taken care of.
Overall this project has allowed me to better understand React and Redux, call upon an API, utilize several routes, have child
components that access and update the global state as well as apply and use various modals from Materialize-CSS.

A retro computer command terminal based role-playing-game modeled on the RPG video games that were popular in the mid 1970s and throughout the 1980s. These video games introduced the RPG genre to a wider audience than their original board game predecessors. The "golden age" for these types of command terminal based RPG video games occurred in the mid to late 1980s although they continue to be produced for modern home computers and video game console systems.
